Lil Baby brings the new FRESH
The album
Lil Baby released FRESH on November 6 through Quality Control Music and Motown. It’s his fifth studio album, with 17 tracks on the digital edition, according to Complex’s release guide. After a big run of Atlanta rap, FRESH keeps the focus on Baby’s voice and a compact set of guest appearances.
The features
Future, Young Thug and Rylo Rodriguez all appear on “All My Partnas.” Rylo also joins Lil Baby on “In Your Head,” making him the only featured artist who appears twice on the digital tracklist. Complex lists those guest credits and notes the contrast between the digital and physical editions.
“Dead Fresh” with Pharrell
The album’s lead single, “Dead Fresh,” is produced by Pharrell Williams. Complex reports that it peaked at No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100. It’s a notable pairing: Lil Baby’s Atlanta rap cadence over a Pharrell beat, with the song setting the tone for the album before its release.
The physical-version track swap
There’s a tracklist detail for collectors: the physical version swaps digital album track “From The Back” for “Coast 2 Coast,” featuring Bally Baby and Fatt Smaxk, according to Complex’s CD and vinyl listings. That means the physical and digital editions don’t have exactly the same track sequence.

B2K returns with ECLIPSE
The 24-year gap
B2K’s ECLIPSE arrived November 6 through BPC Music Group. The group’s announcement via PR Newswire describes it as the group’s first studio album in nearly 24 years. The release calls the project a 13-track album, while Apple Music lists 12 songs; listeners may see that difference reflected across listings.
The members
The original members are back together: Omarion, J-Boog, Lil’ Fizz and Raz-B. That reunion is the headline here. This isn’t a compilation or a live album. It’s a new studio project from the group’s original lineup, as confirmed in the BPC Music Group release.
The singles
The rollout included “Mileage,” “Lil Freak” and “Co-Sign.” The group’s announcement says “Mileage” reached the Top 15 at R&B/Hip-Hop radio and No. 1 on Apple Music’s R&B Songs and R&B Videos charts. “Co-Sign,” produced and written by The Underdogs, arrived with the album. “Boyfriend” with Bow Wow
“Boyfriend” brings Bow Wow into the album’s guest lineup. It’s a link between ECLIPSE and the Boys 4 Life era: the BPC announcement notes that B2K and Bow Wow toured together on the Boys 4 Life Tour. The track is listed on the album’s Apple Music page.
The UK return
Skepta’s The Fork and Knife
Skepta released The Fork and Knife on November 6 through Big Smoke/Epic Records. It’s his first solo studio album since 2019’s Ignorance Is Bliss, a seven-year gap, and runs for 15 tracks. Complex’s release-day coverage reports guest appearances from Central Cee, Jorja Smith, JME and more. The Sony Music announcement describes the record as moving through grime, garage, house, jungle and electronic sounds while exploring Skepta’s British-Nigerian identity.

Producer Fridays
Curren$y x Harry Fraud
Curren$y and Harry Fraud link up again on Off to the Races, a 10-track project released November 6. The guest list includes Rome Streetz, Wiz Khalifa, Fendi P and Bruiser Wolf, according to HotNewHipHop’s album page. “The Telethon,” featuring Rome Streetz, is an early stop; “Go So Fast” pairs Fendi P and Bruiser Wolf.
Mathematics’ Wu-Tang sequel and Rock Hall timing
Mathematics and Wu-Tang Clan released Black Samson: The Saga Continues, a sequel to 2025’s Black Samson: The Bastard Swordsman. The 10-track project includes Method Man and AZ on “God Body,” plus Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, U-God, Rome Streetz and others, as detailed by The Source. Its timing is sharp: Wu-Tang Clan’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony is set for November 14, eight days after the album’s release, according to the Hall of Fame’s announcement.
There’s an industry conversation alongside the music. In a recent AllHipHop interview, Mathematics discussed pushing back on “standard” contract terms and questioned streaming compensation. Useful context for artists thinking about ownership and deal language.
Statik Selektah’s 21-track guest list
Statik Selektah’s Expensive Taste is a 21-track producer-led album released through Mass Appeal. Its guest list includes AZ, Boldy James, Ab-Soul, Killer Mike, Busta Rhymes, Freddie Gibbs and Joey Bada$$. That Eric Alper’s release coverage highlights the all-star lineup; Apple Music lists the album.
Also out
Louis York
Louis York’s The Heart of the Matter also arrived November 6. The duo’s official Weirdo Workshop page features the album, while Rolling Out’s release-day coverage notes its release date. The project adds a soul and R&B lane to a Friday otherwise stacked with major rap returns.
